One Rolex...
I'm picking up my "one" Rolex soon.
Previously I've owned
-Various datejusts
-Milgauss
-Various submariners ranging from vintage to more modern, but nothing newer than 2010 or so
I have come to the conclusion that I definitely want "a" sporty GMT/sub back in the rotation, but I'm not sure which. My main two options are...
1. Batgirl.
-Love the jubilee bracelet
-Don't mind going blingier since I have 2 or 3 "beater" divers like my Sinn for sketchy travel (I go to a lot of rough countries)
-The pop of color is awesome
-Don't like the bezel clicks or lack of. I actually use timing bezels quite a bit for random stuff like my morning coffee.
2. No date sub.
-It's a no date sub, about as classic as it gets
-Love the lack of cyclops. IMO it ruins a lot of Rolex
-No date means less can go wrong, not that I'm too worried with a Rolex, but it is nice having less moving parts in a watch when possible.
-Don't love the oyster as much as the jubilee
-Almost too monochromatic...
I was thinking of a Seadweller because of the pop of red on the dial...but I don't like the size. A nice compact/thin sports watch is a lot more enjoyable to wear IMO.
Is there anything else I should consider from the brand? Something without a date or no cyclops that has a bezel and a pop of color? I should add, I want to go as modern/new as possible. I like a lot of the new Rolex bracelet features and engineering in the newer movements. Vintage stresses me out too much anyways as there's too much fake stuff going on even when buying from good vintage guys, and too many concerns with waterproofing etc...which is a problem b/c I live in Vancouver where it rains 80% of the time lol. For additional context, the rest of my collection is pretty varied. I have just about every "need" met

This would probably be my "going somewhere safe for vacation" watch + the one I use when going on extended walks with my wife, etc!
If anyone owns both, do you gravitate towards one over the other when you do pick a "sporty" watch?
