Not too fancy
But, still very nice! The Habring2 jumping seconds (original version with the Chezard-Doxa movement). The jumping indicator is great fun and a relatively unusual petit complication, and the watch itself is very clean and crisp in the now-familiar Habring style:
As I've said before, I don't think that Mr. Dufour is going to lose any sleep worrying about the finishing displayed on this movement, but it is nicely functional and it's neat to see the dead seconds mechanism (6-legged starfish and remontoir) visible under the Doxa plate.
I've been thinking about trying a new dial (one of the great things about Habring2) -- maybe something in a dark blue with cream center? Or ivory with blued indices and hands? And I'll definitely need to swap out the strap put on by the prior owner -- but for now, every time I take this one out of the box it's just too tempting to slap it on my wrist and wear it!
Best,
Gary G

As for dials, I'm partial to the all blue (not sure I can see a two-tone working but then I've also not seen one) and to the white with blue indices. I've seen an ivory with blue elements and it seems almost mooted and washed out. Your dial I do like a lo...
Nice little complication!

Nice Habring2 you have there Gary! The original jumping seconds! What I love about your one is that it doesn't have the power reserve at the front, so it's as stealthy as it can get, and people that doesn't know it, would think it's a quartz watch, until ...
Blue, you say?

Not a jumper here, but the Habring² blue dials are fantastic, and the perfect color of blue--a bit metallic and cornflower, but deep enough without being royal. I only have the outer dial, but it helps give some idea of what it would look like with t...
