New AP releases
AP has sprinkling new releases here and there. Just recently, amongst these new pieces has been a couple of new Code 11.59 pieces which you can see on their site. But I wanted to highlight this one in particular, which I think everyone will be impressed by.
Besides the beautiful onyx dial, the case is ceramic, and the bezel portion being white gold. Overall, this is a stunner which gives a taste of the exciting developments that may be in store for future Code releases.

This and the openworked tourbillon and tourbillon chronograph are beauties
If only the size was reduced to 38, these would have been perfect. They're extremely attractive.
I still prefer the likely source of inspiration
Anyway it's a nice watch, eventually.

Which source do you have in mind? I’ve read Movado elsewhere…but that’s not totally fair given this is a tourbillon.
Moser
The fume dial, as well as the vantablack, are definitely a Moser feature. In the last couple of years the code has accidentally shifted the design towards the same direction 😇😇😇😇 Take a look at this one, but one of my fav is the total eclipse limited edit...

Moser is one of my favorites. Wow, you’re spot on with this vantablack comparison. But we can perhaps take it as flattery of Moser’s wonderful example 😄
Lovely piece.
Unfortunately I can’t unsee the way the base of the hands overlaps the Tourbillon cut-out.
It’s the price increases that really have me baffled.
I realize there are certain levels of buyers where price is no object. I just wonder if AP is planning to get to that uber exclusive level. RM comes to mind, but that’s scary and sad to think about such an extreme.
