Master Moon - my first JLC
I had an eye on these for awhile, finally made the plunge! I was initially concerned that the size (37 mm) was a bit too small, but it wears beautifully. I love the classic design, and the day and month indicators in red adds a nice splash to the dial. The rose gold is a particularly nice shade, and the silver dial has some subtle changes in the light...
The movement is a pleasure to admire... it really catches the light differently when you move it around!
The serial number is not No. 1, unfortunately. That would be very cool indeed. I just photoshopped out the other three digits. Rather well, I think!
Finally a moody, desaturated shot... kinda gives it a white gold feel.
Not sure about this shot, but I am sure about the watch!

Beautiful watch, I love the minute track on the dial. What year is that from? On mine, without the minute track, the date markers are a bit visually distracting - each being "almost but not quite" 2 minutes. Of course, everything about my watch is visuall...
1950s.....
Early 50s or late 40s. Was really lucky to get it in such a great condition. It is the smaller version, at abt 31mm. By the way, to me your watch is very attractive. Take good care of it. Ed
