Mark III and Mark IV
Yesterday I was at the workshop where my Continental is being maintained. And coincides had it that there was another Continental standing there. A Mark III (in lesser original condition).

Nevertheless a side by side picture had to be taken.
Two weeks ago when I was grocery shopping a car stopped next to me and a man got out with a big smile on his face starting talking with a loud voice: "Lincoln Continental Mark IV!". "My dream car!". And he gave me his business card and said: "If you ever want to sell it call me!".
So yesterday I visited him with the car and took him for a ride. Long story short: he's got the cash ready...
But I'm in doubt whether to sell it or not. It's not my dream car and I bought it for laughs but it does make me smile every time I drive it. Because it is such a ridiculous car. If I sell it however I can move on to something like this:

Ot this

Still I'm afraid I will miss it if I do part with it. Decisions decisions....

Upgrades for driveability. It can always be put back to standard. I wouldn't give up my 5 speed 'box for the 4 speed original. Nor the 1600cc for the 1300cc. Nor twin Webers for a downdraft single Solex. Nor the electronic ignition for points. Nor the cli...
