Lange 1 MP power reserve issue
Hi all,
Just got a Lange 1 moonphase as seen in my incoming thread below..
I bought it brand new from an official retailer and was told that it was factory fresh. However on giving the watch a full wind, I noticed that right now at around 36 hours, the power reserve indicator has already fallen to around a quarter of the capacity.. If its supposed to 72 hours this is a little too fast a drop isn't it?
I'm reluctant to bring it back so soon as they will likely keep it for a while.. Am I being overly anxious? Is there some reason I don't seem to be getting the maximum out of my power reserve?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hi Dylan, A year ago I bought a brand new Lange 1 and had a similar problem. In addition, even the date was not changing correctly. I did send it back to the UK AD (I had bought it from Sincere Watches, the AD in Malaysia) who sent it back to Lange for 6 ...

Colton has explained the power reserve indicator perfectly. I am sure that there is nothing wrong with your watch. I believe you can find a description of how the power reserve indication works in the instruction booklet that comes with your watch.
Thank you all..

.. For your responses! I think Colton probably explained it perfectly.. After observing the watch for a further day it has behaved exactly as he explained. It is my fault - have never seen a power reserve like this before and thus it did not cross my mind...
