JLC SIHH 2011: The Master Compressor Chronograph
Last year, JLC introduced the 2d Version of the Master Compressor Chronograph, " à propos " called Master Compressor Chronograph 2.
A redesigned dial, in a sportier, more dynamic way, in a 41, 5 mm stainles steel or rose gold case.
The new MC Chronograph is a muscled evolution of the MC Chronograph 2, but DOESN'T REPLACE it.
A 44 mm black ceramic case, 13,7mm high, borrowing the dial of the MC Chronohraph 2, with slightly different hands, as they are skeleted at their base.
The Chronograph pushers are not round anymore, but rectangular, on this version, which is limited to 500 pieces.
A black bodybuilded MC Chronograph 2, impressive and quite appealing, in my opinion, even if I'm not a fan of the " black trend ", but it is just my personal taste.

To be complete, this new Master Compressor Chronograph is water resistant to 100 meters, and its delivey is expected for August 2011.
No idea of the retail for this piece, for the moment.

Well, George, this is, as said, the same than the MC Chono 2d generation.
But in bigger, and with the black ceramic case. It houses the same movement, the Cal 751, which is a 39 jewels 28800 vph automatic movement, offering an autonomy of 65 hours. Best, my friend. Nicolas.

..hand should have been done a bit longer to at least cross the seconds scale around the dial, if you get what i mean.. Just my opinion. When you read it from the top at least you can be sure it is actually crossing which second instead of guessing it. Ov...

seconds marks on the flange
Maybe the hands are too short now, because JLC has moved the seconds and fractions of a second marks to the flange in cleaning up the dial in some ot their watches. Cheers, Christoph

I normally am a fan of the black look and I love chronographs, but there is something not in sync with this model. Perhaps it's the contrasting metal on the pusher/crowns, I'm not sure.

The dial certainly looks much more elegant. In order of the all the markings (which I assume is for the red seconds hand) to be useful, the chrono seconds hand needs to be longer. And of course, the real seconds hands seem real short too. J.
