Jaquet Droz 2014 Novelties
2014 Novelty Fair is being held at Nicolas Hayek Center in Ginza and I was invited to view some of Jaquet Droz novelties.
1. Grande Seconde SE Series
Grey/Silver model - 45mm
Complicated case structure.
Blue version - 45mm
Silver version - 41mm
(these new colors all have both 45 and 41mm)

The rotor has horse motif...
3. Grande Seconde Quantieme Ivory Enamel series - 43mm and 39mm
The back side of the 39mm - silicon hair spring and reverse lever escapement, see the sun rays cotes de Geneve.
As comparison, the back side of the older version.
Ivory enamel dial - contrary to how it looks, this is NOT the two parts dial.
Love the blue hands!
39mm is better for my wrist....

There are not as many as last year, but J*D is making interesting watches and they also seem to be gong back to the smaller size watches.... Good trend, personally.

I always feel the same with J*D. Due to their designs, these watches have to be large! I was never seduced by the 39mm versions. Thanks! Fx
JD is starting to impress me with some very nice watches
I particularly like the Grand Seconds Quantieme Enamel in the 39mm case. I think it's just beautiful. Richard
