So, let's get closer to the main novelties - Jaquet Droz Charming Bird and Automata Lady 8 Flower. Charming Bird 47mm may be a bit big, but the automata and "chirping" mechanism is very nice, together with the dome or sphere crystal. Top crown works for the watch section, winding (although the movement is automatic movement) and time adjusting. Another crown on 2 o'clock is for the automata/ chirping. Here are more hands-on novelties review taken a few days later at the boutique. Astrale Grande Heure GMT, on a very rare stone dial (Gold Pietersit) - piece unique..... And watch dials are MOP..... Love the blued hands.... Grande Heure Minute Quantieme 39mm and 43mm Now, this is very un-Jaquet Droz. But looks very fresh and love the pattern on the dial and the date window. Red tip of the second hand is a good accent, too. White dial and blue hands are hard-to-resist combo for me.... SW Chrono 45
