IWC... and tritium
So, I'm contemplating sending my vintage Mark XII to the Richemont center here in the U.S. for a service, but really, really concerned about them trying (insisting?) on replacing the original, pristine tritium hands with replacement luminova ones and the original fish crown with the newer type. I spoke with the local IWC Boutique near where I live and they said just write out exactly what you do or do not want replaced and IWC will respect that, but having been burnt by the service center for another Richemont brand I'm hesitant.... once bitten, twice shy.
Anyone on WPS have recent experience with IWC service and specifically preserving tritium components? There are of course independent service centers who can handle the job, but I'd prefer any other parts that need to be replaced be OEM - thanks!

Sent my 3706 in a few years back. Spelled out no replacements/no polish and they respected my wishes. ...

I assume all the work was done there. Wish I could remember how long it took, but it wasn't anything crazy.
I recently sent in an older titanium Aquatimer
It didn't have tritium in the first place, but they did exactly what I requested and refrained from exactly what I requested they refrain from. It was quite refreshing!

My Fish Crowns Have Always Come Back

My Big Pilot was refreshed,
and they left the fish crown and patina dial with a bronze hued date frame. My only gripe is I had a Ti Aquatimer GST and the lug pins were replaced with polished steel, not blasted titanium. They denied the pins were different which was blatantly obvious...

Ended up sending my XII to Jack Freedman at Superior
provided very detailed instructions which he said will be respected. Should have it back in late January, so I’ll provide an update - thanks +++
