Incoming: the diving chrono that didn’t exist
Dear all,
After a (too?) long hiatus, there is again a JLC in my collection. Received last weekend one (of my 3 🤔) upcomings of 2022, namely a very pristine Deep-sea vintage chronograph:
Had been long on the fence, being not even sure which version to chose, between the cermet and the vintage one?
I finally went for the vintage-inspired version: I know that it is an anomaly, recreating a chrono in a diver which didn’t exist in the first place. However the fact that it looks vintage but has all the convenience and water-resistance of a modern watch, no date and has a very nice, compact size tilted the scale.
Have already been playing and “had” to try it with both NATO and leather strap - smitten by the results 🤩!

Nope
The bezel is fixed, no possible to use as a second time zone. On the other hand, it is lumped which creates an interesting pattern at night, rather different from other watches I believe.

I tried it once in a JLC shop in Nice. It must be almost 10 years ago. Always loved it. It must be quite rare too. Never seen it since and zero on the market. Huge congrats Jp
