I finally mounted my gunmetal wheels to the Beemer !

I had these lying in the barn for a couple of months now. Some guy who bought a M135i decided not to use them and mount 19 inch wheels so i was lucky to have them for a reasonable price.
Fitted with the latest Michelin Pilot Supersports 225/40/18 on the front and 245/35/18 at the rear i already had a feeling it was some kind of overkill.

The day before i had just etsted the brandnew Focus RS and was amazed buy the precision of the steering inputs .... the Focus was also equipped with the same Michelin Pilot Supersports being it 19 inch.
After the first few km's i already understood why that Focus was so darn good ! The Beemer now drives better, handles better and is almost as precise as my Clio RS (equipped with not so good tyres).

The main problem now is the fact i have to drive so extremely fast to enjoy the car and push it to the limits. In fact i haven't taken it out that much anymore as i might end up in jail or hit a tree at 200 km/h. So these past weeks i've been driving the 205 more than i'm used too. Sliding and screaming tyres at 70 kph can be more fun than scaring yourself at 180 ... .

Oh dear ... that 1M looks so silly now smile

The Clio remains one of the best drivers cars ever ... i really start to doubt if the upcoming 2017 Alpine will be as joyfull. MX-5 or BRZ might be my next choice ... or even a 2007 BMW 130i.

Some professional spraying of my 205 wheels ;-)

165/70/13 at the front and 145/80/13 at the rear ... guess how much (or little) speed i will need to have it sliding around ... well, i already found out the handbrake-turn is very easy to perform now smile .

Salut !!!
