I can honestly say that this one was purchased for the backside rather than the dial!
A simple small seconds - beautifully finished dial, blued steel hands and applied indices. This is a lovely daily driver with nice touches. 
But it really comes alive when you flip it over. I struggled for a while with the automatic movement, but eventually the finishing on the rotor itself compensated for the real estate it occupied in the caseback view. 
And you can always flip the watch over to see the other half!

I agree. In some regards similar to the “art deco” style of the Patek 5172
Especially when viewed from the top down. However, the architecture of these lugs is more complicated with the concave elements - appreciated when looking side on. ...
