Has anyone else sent a damaged Tudor bronze
back to the service centre?

Case, bezel knurling and insert damage

The quote
It's going to cost 44% of the purchase price. Ouch.

Is the bezel actually cracked? Insurance? I'd rather buy a new one or something else than pay this amount and just wear it as is. Or get someone else to fix the lug (LAWW) and leave it at that.

LA Watchworks, I thought you were based in the US. I would try to look for someone qualified. There should be someone, at least I hope so you can get it done cheaper.
That’s crazy!

I work for a Handmade Bronze Hardware Company in the USA and there is nothing that difficult with working, fixing or machining bronze. I would look elsewhere for help and I do believe it is quite fixable. Good luck finding someone capable (maybe Tudor?)!
