Guys I need some advice.
I am kind of up against the wall. After the SIHH I placed an order for a PAM 345 that I found really interesting for various reasons.
Today, the watch is scheduled to arrive at my AD's and I should be able to pick it up soon.
However, I am having second thoughts about getting this watch. Basically, I am wondering whether it is the right addition to my collection.
I don't think that my AD will mind if I don't get it as he probably already has another buyer lined up.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I could also ask my AD to swap the roder for annoter model.

I'm not 100% convinced about. What's the point? I'm sure your AD won't cry as almost all the PAMs are coveted, sought after pieces. But, for me, the AD's position is immaterial; your money, your decision...IMHO... Cheers - Sergio

In this case I have not so there is nothing for me to loose. Nevertheless, I like to maintain a good Relationship with my AD. Best regards, George

The reason I thought it was attractive is that it was a left hand watch and I figured that a Panerai collection should include a Left handed watch. Second I liked the Monopulsante fonction, the same as my 317 (which is the limait of my Panerai collection ...
I think you have distilled the essence of PAM..
down to the core which is "simple and bold"... while I love the 317 for its black ceramic case and the awesome PVD movement and I give kudos to Panerai for all their experimentation and pushing the boundaries... (I am biased as I have the 339)...the core ...

so you already have the infamous 317... In that case, I do agree that a 345 could be a bit redundant. For the sake of having better variety, perhaps a 368 that Bill has 'accidentally' posted might fit the bill better? No doubt a 372 would be nice as well ...

the moment you start doubting you're on the wrong way, sooner or later you'll sell the watch and will have to cope with the financial loss. I had a 311 myself (monopulsante titanium) and sold it a few months after I got, those brown dials are realy nice b...
If you are uncertain, better not do the deal.
Having said that...sometimes, there are some watches that will grow on you, though there are initial doubts. The good thing about PAMs is that should one make a mistake, it's quite easy to resell without too much financial hit. I like the 345, btw.....do ...
