Greek Island Questions
So,
I'm leaning towards going to an island in Greece in about a week and a half. (other options are Corsica or Krk in Croatia). Corsica seems cool but I don't want to drive in the mountains, and I think I would have to do that if I stayed around Bonifacio. Krk is a possibility.
Just wondering if anyone has feedback on some of the Greek islands. Because I'm going crazy, like someone trying to choose his next watch

. But the clock is ticking.
I'm really looking to have a taste of paradise, with dramatic views, have some good local food, and maybe a harbor town where I can have good yogurt, honey, and fruit in the morning and dinner and drinks at night. Spots to wander. And the opportunity to make some new friends.
Options under consideration
Milos - Looks like it has dramatic geography, and I could do some sea kayaking there. Also an old minoan city. May be a good place to unwind. Also, it doesn't sound like it's covered in crowds.
Con - will I run out of things to do? Will I be tom hanks in castaway or matt damon in the martian?
Rhodes - Looks to have cool architecture, there are some people there, but maybe not ridiculous crowds.
Con - do I need a car to get to cool spots?
Naxos - Know very little, but many people say Naxos
Skiathos - I've been here before, it was fun. Loved the harbor town. People were good.
Cons - not dramatic mountains. Beaches popular but not mind blowing
Paxi - looks great, but hard to get to. Have to go through corfu, and corfu town is beautiful, I've been there before, but I'm not sure I want to visit again
Andros and Syros - Greek friends are recommending these. I know little about either.
Thanks,
Robert
