For example, I am obsessed by finding a Milgauss 1019, a 1665 MK II PP, a 6200. Not really by Milgauss or SD or BC in general. But I am not really a Rolex Collector. Nice topic! I would be interested to read what are our friends'obsession(s). Best, Nicola...

My dear friend Abel, You said it correctly! GMT's can at least as addictive as submariners. Maybe even more so as you can play with color MUCH better with GMT's as you can with Submariners. Nice to see that submariner and GMTs are both your addictions.......

Joe, Not surprised to read this post from you. You clearly like the 'adopted black sheep' of the submariner family. Thats ok. To each his own. Although I understand close to zero of the SD family other than the double red is usually what collectors keep o...  

.....one of the things that attracted me on the pair of Mk1 DRSD Patent Pendings in my gang was the fact that the two watches have consecutive serial numbers...yep, just one digit...and that the two divers who were gifted the watches from Rolex knew each ...

So i don't get obsessed by one model but by a driving desire for a model at the time. That means i have obsessed over SD's. Both COMEX and non COMEX. Lately i have become obsessed by the Exp II, in particular the SAS commission, I have also obsessed over ... 

I have myself a " valve " obsession ....

.. I like to look on them, try them, and like to wear those and to enjoy them : - although I've got more GMT's than my few Subs, and also I do enjoy my modern ones, I'll just consider me a Rolex lover, maybe an aficionado.. but not really a collector.. St... 

For me, the primary "theme" is GMT/travel. I am a sucker for those and that is where my eye usually gravitates. I think this is because I love to travel, and do a fair amount for work and pleasure. I also think there is some romance to a watch which track...
