defy extreme
with everyone rhapsodizing the new collections and departure of mr. nataf, i just have to ask: did no one in this forum like/buy a defy extreme?
i fear that i sound heretical, but i thought they were really cool. the new direction for zenith is nice (the stratos looks great), but some of those over-the-top designs were really nice, i thought. perhaps in 20 years, people will be looking back at them as a momentous and daring direction.
weren't the royal oaks viewed as a bit out there when they first appeared?
confession: i did not purchase a defy extreme. but it's on my list of things to do...some day.
anyway, i was just curious if anyone else out there liked them.

You can still tell the time on both of the Audemars Piguets. The Zenith leaves you approximating. That's a deal breaker in my book. That said, I might get one of those Defy Xtremes if the price is ever low enough to buy one as a novelty. And it may yet be...
