Bettarini Fever !!
With my PAM 384 at the shops for another 8-9 weeks at the very least, I’m having serious PAM withdrawals and am in a deep Bettarini rabbit hole.
Serious contenders for my next PAM are the
1. PAM 176
Titanium. 2 hands. Sandwich dial. No Crown guard signage
Lovely-finished Unitas movement.
2. PAM 00010
White lacquer dial with black lacquer numerals and dot lume. Once again, no seconds hand or crown guard signage. Closed caseback. A venerable purist has one of these, and infected me with the fever (you know who you are)
What would get your vote? Do you one of these, or similar versions? I’ve never worn or tried the fit of a Bettarini base model PAM. Any qualms about the fit? I’ve got a flat 6.5 inch wrist

Unfortunately no. The closest thing I have to a 176 is a 562. Also 44mm, sandwich dial, clean and simple, titanium with dark brown dial and has the 8 day in-house inside.
This is similar and a very nice watch IMHO. You should try to find one to see what you think. Might be easier to find than a 176 also. ...

I would go for a 176, I like the color of that particular titanium alloy.

I love white dial pams too but I'm too much of a lume freak! The 176 is one of the few luminor Ti cases with a black dial, most are brown which gives a different vibe, I used to have a 562 and have been considering a 118 or a destro just for fun. Keep us ...
I owned a 176 almost 20 years ago now.
Not the sandwich dial at that time. My buddy owned a 40mm white dial PAM (don’t recall reference) around the same time or maybe a few years later. To me, the 176 is the choice here. I’m not a fan of these earlier white dials, with the exception of the PAM...

No ownership woes, it was an easy watch for me.
No photos either, all my old watch photos were on photobucket and I think long gone. The 176 and 177 were popular models back then, so I’d guess some others will have feedback too.

And I shall! I worry about damaging the DLC coating though; I’ve managed to damage the movement or case of all of my watches so far, with a few exceptions
It’s a pretty good durable application from what I can see.
It has the Bettarini case design that you and I find extremely attractive
You wear it very well!
I, on the other hand, plan to add it to the roster of beaters that have to handle the extreme environments of baby/toddler care 😆. A bund would have to give way to rubber
