At a small Lange event I was able to admire and try on the latest releases from Lange

 

The new Dato PC Tourbillon Lumen is an incredible watch 🥰🥳 But unfortunately as well at an incredible price 😬



The back view is just breathtaking 🤯



I have to admit that I'm a fan of the 1st Gen Dato (as an owner as well a bit biased 😉) but the blue version of the up/down really kicked me. What a great watch 👍🏻

Actually, I have that same strap, but after seeing your pictures a while back, I changed the stitching from white to tone and tone like yours!

Very pleasantly surprised, as a fan of the Gen1 version. Your 1815 Up/Down is beautiful and classic, by the way, and that strap goes really well with it.

I'm also in love with the new blue Dato...

You're right, most likely hard to come by. Fortunately, as the owner of the 1st Gen. Datograph, this doesn't affect me 😃

The DPT Lumen Honey Gold is the most magnificent watch / Lange I’ve ever seen. The blue Datograph is lovely in the metal too - it gave me a bit of an 1815 Chrono vibe for some reason. Shout out to your 1815 Up / Down though! A simply delightful piece - th... 

Thanks! You're absolutely right. All these high end pieces don't play in my league. And I'm fine with it. But it's great to try them on and have some nice conversation with other watch enthusiasts.

Have a look at the Limited numerals on the reverse side of the DPT Honey Gold Lumen - it says "000 / 100". So, here's a scoop for this forum: at some point in the prototype process, it was evidently going to be a limited edition of 100 pieces instead of 5...
