The DPT Lumen Honey Gold is the most magnificent watch / Lange I’ve ever seen.
The blue Datograph is lovely in the metal too - it gave me a bit of an 1815 Chrono vibe for some reason.
Shout out to your 1815 Up / Down though! A simply delightful piece - the favourite of my collection.
You have that and your gen. 1 Dato…so you can return home from the Lange event feeling fantastic: same base calibre, same finishing & provenance (in fact, yours was the OG), and the same name on the dials.

I had same reaction upon seeing the blue dial Dato Up/Down.
Very pleasantly surprised, as a fan of the Gen1 version. Your 1815 Up/Down is beautiful and classic, by the way, and that strap goes really well with it.
I'm also in love with the new blue Dato...
But being a limited run, I'm not entitled to order one... ☹️ ...

Thanks! You're absolutely right. All these high end pieces don't play in my league. And I'm fine with it. But it's great to try them on and have some nice conversation with other watch enthusiasts.
I feel so privileged owning some wonderful pieces from Lange. It doesn't need more

Have a look at the Limited numerals on the reverse side of the DPT Honey Gold Lumen - it says "000 / 100". So, here's a scoop for this forum: at some point in the prototype process, it was evidently going to be a limited edition of 100 pieces instead of 5...
