Around 40 days before the SIHH...

We are entering the home straight !

People at the Manufacture are working hard to prepare the 2011 novelties. Is it obviously a bit late for a wishing list... but dreaming doesn't cost anything.

What are your expectations from Lange for the upcoming SIHH ? Any new model you wish to see ? Any evolution of an existing model ? A wish of a new metal ? Of a new complication ? Or is it better to have an empty wish list and to wait for surprises ?

My wish list would be as follows:

- a new Richard Lange. As I said in Oliver's topic, I think that this line has a true potential
- another watch with a big second hand even if it is not a Richard Lange
- an evolution for the Datograph ? To celebrate its 11th birthday ? A very difficult topic... because the Datograph is an iconic watch. But one day this question will arise.
- a striking watch: I believe that 2011 is too soon to see a Lange striking watch. But who knows ? We all have great expectations around this topic and sure that Lange will release, one day, a watch which doesn't strike like another one. An alarm watch would be great also and... more affordable.
- an evolution for the Saxonia line: I would like to see a new entry level collection. For example the HW 37mm Saxonia would require more "Lange style details" in its design... I know that the current one is not very old...
- an automatic chronograph caliber: it would be nice to see Lange offer in this context
- and of course, the surprises are more than welcome !  ;-)

We don't have to forget that Lange, thanks to the development of the  31 days and its constant force system, has the ability to invent complications which require a lot of energy. That was the case with the Zeitwerk. So there are a lot of open doors and as we are very demanding people, we always expect from Lange to unveil different watches... it is the reason why we like them so much !
