has resulted in this: What is it? A very masculine, big Rolex divers watch but still completely wearable. The new, wider 22 mm bracelet is very fitting to this model! An anniversary Rolex with red printing on the dial ... what is not to like? I am thrille...

I prefer the lug design over the 16610's lug design: I am not a fan of the boxy looking modern submariner cases. The overall experience of this one is certainly bigger than the 116610! You are right that this piece is a bit unexpected but I felt for anoth...

This single red SD is growing on me.

To me it is has got the best balance of being big but not excessively big like the Deep Sea (no offence to proud owners!). This SD 43 looks now it look like a strong diving watch with a very good presence on the wrist. And finally: an anniversary piece .....

Tried several times the Deep Sea on and was "anxious" this SD might be too big. The first time the SD was passed over to me I was still very impressed by the size of it but once on my wrist it won me instantly over! Thank you for your kind words Best Mori... 

I saw this last night at the Rolex preview evening and I was impressed.....great size and not too thick. I am tempted to put my name down. More pics please Andy.

It is an anniversary piece and will turn into a standard model one day ... without a small but missing detail from this issue. But most importantly it is a very good looking Rolex again.

I was actually tempted for a long time to get the current Sub no date but this beast of a Rolex felt instantly perfect on my wrist.

The wider bracelet for this model was a very good decision from Rolex and I am sure without it this SD would look less good.

Indeed, as unexpected the call was as spontaneous was my decision to get it. It is a mighty strong watch !

But like my deepsea much better. From your pics I can see the crystal is actually a little raised. I like that. Overall very nice watch.

Thank you in particular for your opinion in comparison to the DS. I tried the DS the first time on in the decision finding for this SD and must say that the DS feels not right on my wrist BUT anytime I see it on others I find it is also a very nice, stron... 

What a lot of people don't get to do is remove the divers extension and put a regular link in. It changes how it sits on the wrist. Also lot of people said it was too heavy and flops around but I find that to be false. The case back is titantium and it al...

I tried on the same and really liked it. Although I prefer, if possible, not go over a 40mm, the size didn't matter to me. Now, if I like it~ that's all that counts. I contemplated getting it but for now, I'm waiting for the new Sky Dweller. We'll see wha...

especially on women. But getting back to watches, yes I, too, like the red accents. If I don't get the new Sky Dweller, this one is in the running with the Batman GMT. I passed on the Batman on the first offering but now, I'm really liking it, Ahhhhh ~ To... 

The polished links kept me off it and the new Sub cases generally. When I was juuuust ready for the Batman the opportunity of this SD came along... Both are quite Good options to buy a Rolex again!

Does anyone have any feedback as to sales of these new SeaDwellers? I have one waiting at an AD and I'm trying to wangle a discount on this piece, before I sell my DeepSea. Any help will be greatly appreciated... Jeff

Sent a check today to my AD today, hopefully I'll receive the package tomorrow or Wednesday. Really anxious for this SeaDweller the nicest Submariner edition ever, the perfect compromise. Jeff

Living in Singapore is always a bit more expensive than elsewhere, we all know ... !

I've read that the "Red Text" will be deleted after this initial 50th Anniversary model year? Any insight as to what I've read? I kind of hope it's true, make these even more valuable...
