Seiko

Accidents can be a blessing!

Yesterday, I accidentally dropped by at a Grand Seiko dealer and was pleasantly surprised after trying on the SBGW031. I am not sure if it was the simplicity of the cream dial, the manual winding movement or the relatively petite 37.3mm diameter that won me over or perhaps it was the exceedingly reasonable price that swayed me over.  Those who know me well would say the last two factors were probably the culprits.  My dilemma lies with the fact that I had placed an order on a SBGY003 which is limited to 700 pieces and features a spring drive movement in a case of 38.5mm and a height of 10.2mm (compared to the SBGW031 at 11.6mm).  The SBGY003 is priced at more than double the SBGW031 and it has not been released yet so I have been unable to try it.

Thank you for reading this and for your valued feedback.
