A new vintage pick-up....
Was not expecting to ever see one of these on my wrist, but every now and then.......
My first vintage Breguet.
Love the dial, but like what's inside at least as much (and probably more):
An e-mail from Breguet calls this one simply the "1276". Apparently the majority of the Breguet Peseux 260s were cased in gold, but a few found their way into stainless steel cases like this one.
Very pleased indeed.

You're likely correct about the crown, but to be honest, I'm not sure I'll be able to find a scan of one of these with the original crown. I may reach out to Breguet again, but I think I now have all of the information they have on this timepiece. Darren

The watch was manufactured in 1952 and sold on December 31, 1953. A New Year's present it would appear. Thanks for the kind words. Darren
