1st Lange
Traded my Patek 4947a for this beauty today and couldn’t be happier.
I’ve been wanting to add a Lange to my collection for sometime and always add a soft spot for the 1 moonphase in most configurations, but found it difficult to justify the steep retail price, specially considering the little value it retains out of the door.
Although I prefer the current version, particularly the beautiful day/night indicator on the moon disk, imo this 109.025 model is close enough and a great value right now for either a straight purchase or a trade. Since I rarely used my 4947a and the watch has also seen a tremendous loss of value, this trade was a no brainer, allowing me to improve the diversity of my collection (I have other Pateks) without spending additional money. It is also my 1st platinum watch which makes it even more special.

I have to say that I like both watches. The nice thing about having g either one is that you can enjoy and trade it in for something else without losing your shirt. This Lange is absolutely beautiful. An instant classic. Well Done.

The pt is a beauty; and I can see the allure of the new moonphase day night functionality; it is a slight bummer that the stars are “only” available for a few waking hours of the day. Yours however gives you the stars all day!!! Enjoy!
