It was white gold with salmon dial and looked similar to new steel one (except obviously the date)

(Which I do.) But the newer version's size is a bit small IMO.

I haven’t seen the hinged case back before, but I’ve seen the solid one that snaps on. I hope to find one of these someday for myself, but the one released this year is very tempting as well!

Back, now a somewhat long time ago, when I was getting into watches and specifically movements - the LUC 1.96 caught my eye and I'm still impressed with it today. The fact the case has a hunter back is just icing on the micro-rotor cake.
