Welcome Matthew ...
I feel the White lacquer dial is more of a classic ...well, classic is not ...a 'wow' piece, people talk about it, with the initial enthusiasm and euphoria.
But classic has 'staying-power' ... it will still look good over the years ... we called " 耐看".
I prefer this white lacquer dial and wish that it is enamel .
The original model is more contemporary and sporty feel.
In the end, like Oliver mentioned, it is you who are wearing the watch, and you must like it especially if it is on your wrist
Congrats on your L.U.C 1937 and enjoy your piece.
See you around, Matthew.

No regrets

Matthew, Fashions come and go. By design, LUC chose both colours (white lacquer and silver) to be long-term propositions. There is no regret. You cannot choose to regret your family or spouse either :-) For a watch to be faithful to you, you must also be ...
LUC 1937

Matthew, Congratulations on your new LUC, it's an amazing timepiece. I have loved the 1937 since they released the limited edition with grey dial for their 150th Anniversary. I was in Europe in May for work and I was able to see all three versions at once...
