No regrets
Matthew,
Fashions come and go. By design, LUC chose both colours (white lacquer and silver) to be long-term propositions. There is no regret.
You cannot choose to regret your family or spouse either
For a watch to be faithful to you, you must also be loyal to it; it's not just for Christmas -- it's for Life...
If it makes you feel better, as former moderator of Chopard forum, I like the white dial with classic black markings.
But as others have pointed out....so what? My watch lover's opinion is not important for YOUR wrist.
Enjoy the watch.
Once you catch the watch lover bug, there is another remedy......buy the silver one too! Different colours for different clothes hehehe.
Regards,
MTF

I feel the White lacquer dial is more of a classic ...well, classic is not ...a 'wow' piece, people talk about it, with the initial enthusiasm and euphoria. But classic has 'staying-power' ... it will still look good over the years ... we called " 耐看". I ...

Matthew, Congratulations on your new LUC, it's an amazing timepiece. I have loved the 1937 since they released the limited edition with grey dial for their 150th Anniversary. I was in Europe in May for work and I was able to see all three versions at once...
