Very under-rated. It was like stepping back in time, when the watch industry still innovated exciting calibres.
I suspect many collectors are just waiting...
... reports from early buyers about the accuracy, performance and, most important of all, reliability of this new caliber before jumping on it.

The steel quality is vastly diff. It feels like a jewellery grade of steel. I’ll likely purchase one when times recover for me. So beautiful!=D

Wow thank you for sharing Cookies! Many great choice in your selection but I really love the Alpine 8Hz. Also based on our friend Champ here it seems to be an amazingly accurate movement…
I was surprised to see other 8Hz movement as I had not realized they had other reference with it…

I’m taking a close look at the 8 Hertz now. Times are hard on me for these 2 months but I hope things recover.
I can second Justin's observations.. it is like having a quartz watch with sweeping seconds... very accurate!
Mine lost 2 seconds in a month. 8hz movement was introduced back in 2012 with this model if I am not mistaken.. ...

That tourbillon is tops! Love it. Actually that all good alpine is sharp too and I don't like all gold much. No date as well.
