There is so much going on here, and
it all works so beautifully. I found myself looking
at it for twenty minutes before writing this. The rays
of the sunburst pattern in the "northern hemisphere" are
narrower than in the southern hemisphere and makes
sense. Very well done. On the ALS perpetuals, the
peripheral dials attached to the sub dials are at 4 and 8 o'clock
These are at 2 and 10 o'clock guide the eye in a different
and in my opinion more pleasing way. In the moonphase
dial the printing at 12,3,6,9 mimic the hour markers.
Can't quite tell the color of the printing on the minute track
at 12,3 6,9. Looks greenish, is that right? The only thing
I think I would change, and this is nitpicking, is that white
of the date windows. One or two shades less brilliant
white. But I might have a different take tomorrow!

Oops, bad memory
ALS has one peripheral dial at 6 o'clock. To quote Emily Latella (Glida Radner) "Never mind"

I also agree.
I think that there are many contenders such as Chopard, who deserve more recognition. It is happeninig, I feel.
Really reasonably priced too!
Although, sadly, I'm not a fan of the dial proportions and design. It's just so hard to make dates look good.
