Chopard

By which I mean, I just purchased this grey dial Chopard Alpine Eagle. Chopard has exceeded my expectations. The watch is made from a proprietary steel alloy that under certain lighting conditions looks like white gold, and is also more scratch resistant ...  

I have wanted to try on a chronograph version for some time.

Big, but well-proportioned. Worth a try. I was just a bit tempted to add it to my blue-dialled ‘regular’ Alpine Eagle! Best E.

I’m still loving mine in blue, as is Mrs E (although she recently has been addicted to a vintage WG Datejust she just picked up). The Lucent steel is harder but it will still get scratches - be warned. The dial doesn’t get boring. Only thing I’m wondering...

If the date window is not at 4:30, even at 3/6 or without. It just doesn’t work for me for any watches with that cutout at the location, similar for AP. Congratulations 🎊

Again a Chopard which ticks many boxes at the right square. The AE is a rising star.

the bracelet and clasp look nice too. Wondering what movement did Chopard use for this. A great watch overall.
