Chopard

After a long wait my 1860SS was ready. I quickly packed my bags, off to the airport, the usual stupid aggro there (why are UK airports soo unfriendly, inefficient and nasty?), and arrived in Geneva with my friend. This was last Thursday evening, Gods! How...  

...and wonderful experience. I suppose this is just the way a luxury purchase should be managed by the brands but it looks like Chopard is more an exception than a standard. Congrats.

It was a great experience. Overwhelming would be a good description. One is so used to offhandedness or fake warmth that the real thing comes as a bit of a shock. But here it is, a family biz that really cares about its customers......and in our industry!...

Specifically wanted to see this watch but of course there was none to see. I was a little rushed but will revisit. Sounds like a great little trip.

What a lovely design both front and back. This movement has hacking seconds and a cleaner dial with no date. I’m curious, how would you compare the movement looks compared to the 1.96?
