I did not know at the time that the 16/1860/1 existed as I was really looking for a rose gold 16/1860/2 like "what he photographed" 
They were made in series of 1860 pieces per colour of gold.
It had to be new and from authorised channels. Finally, my watch dealer at the time, TS based in Selfridges, London tracked the "last one" in Geneva but it was yellow gold. I was living in Tokyo then and was excited.
I was surprised when it turned out to be the launch model with half hunter case back.
So, now we have to look for the other 98 owners?

is such a BEAUTY! Thanks for sharing. I appreciate Chopard's LUC calibres more and more these days. Fantastic finishing for the price points. Cheers robin

I love this one, CJ! :) Here I don't find the date window as disturbing as on the Longines previous discussed. Because of the dial color and dail decoraction? Not sure.... But here I don't think the date window take over! Best Blomman

An interesting closeup
If you look closely at this picture one can appreciate the near-flawless polish on the hands, as they are reflecting the dial guilloche which is reflected off the bottom of the crystal! Perhaps not surprising given Chopard's jewelry expertise. ...
