I'm actually going to be meeting a friend who has the blue dial variant soon! He's not a WPS member. Unfortunately. And I have tried to twist his arm. Looking forward to being able to admire the blue variant soon! Thank you for letting me admire your silv... 

I'd be happy to show you mine when the opportunity arises. I've worn it every summer without taking any special care, so it's full of tiny scratches!

I totally understand your mixed feelings concerning the AE. I own the regular grey dial and it works for me, but other watches are far more important to me. Best, Emmanuel

the main model from the get go. In Alpine Eagle 41mm watches the date is very well integrated with the same color date wheel with the dial but still, that special dial deserved a simple no date version which elevated the watch to another level imho. Thank...

For me no date with center seconds is where this watch shines most bright, extra points if the watch has the micro rotor caliber and is thinner, but 2mm is not a deal breaker. Platinum is too heavy for daily use for me though, I’m sure we have members who...

...the 'look' is about perfect. Yes, it would be heavy on a bracelet, but so cool. I would buy it in steel. Or how about platinum with a leather or rubber strap? I do value better-finished movements and thinner watches...

this watch could be fitted with one. ...  

...especially if they provided extra straps like VC does with the Overseas...

Also for the steel ones too. Center seconds no date with different straps. That would be a great option for many people.

I visited the National Gallery of Art and saw this Rothko painting: It upset me because I can never reclaim the time I spent looking at it. I clearly didn't get it! So I'd like to see this particular AE in person, since I like so much of what Chopard does...
