This term makes me smile... hope all brands realise this 'not so nice' connotation.

Regarding the full or no service policy, I need to check it out too.  Just thinking aloud while typing, from the manufacturers/brands perspective, it does make sense.  It covers them, in case of any 'side-effect' while swopping a component, as the full servicing cost already charged. Just that another 'mini vacation' for the watch again, sigh.

Just happy to know Chopard has batches of  new young apprentices trained in-house every couple of years to be later joining the work-team.
As the cumulative volume of watch sale keeps growing annually, after-sale-service of all brands is definitely a 'watch-zone' (pun unintended) .
