Chopard

Hi Salman,

 

I really have a hard time answering your question, but all things considered I think I would choose the Chopard.

The Zenith has a wonderful caliber with a large balance wheel, but I don’t like the brick decoration of the bridges. The lapis lazuli and mop dial looks quite nice, but maybe not absolutely timeless.

The 6196 has a timeless aesthetic which I like but I’m not fond of the architecture of the movement, which isn’t traditional enough for my taste.

The Chopard has a beautiful case and a great 9-Days power reserve caliber. The icy blue dial is quite nice, even though I tend to prefer the darker and warmer salmon tones of the 6196.

So very tough choice: none of the three is perfect, but I would probably go for the Chopard (judging from photos only: my feeling could be very different in real life).

Ideally 6196 in the front, LUC in the back 😁, so have to buy both and do some surgery hahaha

I am biased but for me it would be Chopard all day everyday.

I do like the 6196, but this Chopard really wowed me. Moving the 9 day power reserve indicator to the back really cleaned and opened-up the whole dial. The dial is captivating & really should be seen in person if you have the opportunity! Chopard Quattro ...

This Pt Chopard is modern, value packed with a 9d power reserve, fantastic textured dial, quick change straps, and not the least...a complication too yet lacks the brand image of Patek (at least for now). on the other hand, 6196P is what Patek has got it ...
