I kinda feel like having the full name of the city is more elegant. BUT it would be a LOT easier to use three-letter airport or city codes if you were to start customising the ring. Then the company just needs to have space for three letters at each of the points without worrying about the length of the city names and how they fit together.

Never was aware of this one. As for the movement, in a travel watch I much prefer automatic over manual. I don’t want this thing to run out of steam while on the road. A microrotor may be the best solution here.

I think Chopard nailed it, at least for my standards. They added a seconds hand, keeping the watch “alive”, a discrete but legible date indicator, that blends smoothly in the overall design, and also for me a very important feature, the minute markers!
Overall, I think the Chopard while a bit late to the party, is the best and most practical out of them all.
