the dial is stunning art, made with Japanese Urushi lacquer with the jump hour at 12'o clock...
what is even more interesting...the central golden flower rotates as a seconds indication !
the case is. 38mm YG and almost 300 diamonds all around and of course an 8 pc LE.
Movement side is enjoyable... a manually wound Quattro movement with 8 days power reserve - in deed a bit unusual choice if I consider it as women's watch but given the case is 38mm, it might fit in as the Unisex timepiece.
Movement bears the Paincon de Geneve hallmark.
Other than the finishing, I love the way PR indicator is integrated in this timepiece.... do you see it ?
Personally, the dial is stunning & so the movement, of course diamonds are fine, but I feel it could have been a tad more refined...

I'm not the biggest fan of the movement architecture...
The bridges are not as appealing as they could be.
I kinda feel like the dial and movement alone would have been enough.
Perhaps it’s the pictures, but the diamonds and the settings of those diamonds detract from the dial. Restraint was needed here. If they really needed the diamonds to sell the watch then there was probably a better execution. All the above is qualified by...

I do agree that the diamonds are not necessary (and this is from someone who generally likes diamonds, like i personally would have gone for Baguette diamonds instead or a rock/crystal case or stone inlay in the case but that is me lol) but i love the des...
It is price on request & I didn’t ask for it either.
I agrée baguette diamonds would have been a refined choice.
The absolute counter-concept to the Alpine Eagle XPS.
It is fascinating for me what a wide range Chopard offers. Personally, I'm on the simpler but no less effective Alpine Eagle XP side here. Best Thomas
