1.96 just for kicks...
I had two of these both in the light dial and dark dial and in rose gold. I find 36 mm too small although this dial is a real winner. It was the beginning of Chopard into real Haute Horologie, and for that reason perhaps I should have kept one.
The 1.96 would never keep time even after many service appointments in New York, so I ended up with a Qualite Fleurier in 39mm.
With the rose gold case and champagne dial truly magnificent though....

He was just in the right place at the right time. I rarely part with watches, and I intend to hang onto this one. Good luck though, and it's too bad that the XPS 1860 isn't 36-38mm. Sounds like the size (40mm) is an issue for both you and me.

I just missed one on C24 about a week ago, it was in white gold/white dial with the removable case back. Have to say the yellow gold is my first choice, although white gold with salmon dial would be hard to resist. Enjoy!
