yes, the older AR coating had a noticeable blue hue to it. If you look closely, the AR coating is mostly on the right half of the photo...stops at the 23 minute mark....
the new crystal does not have a top coat of AR i beliveve, only the underside which is more common these days

Works just as well during the week, too 😉 The counterweight might be an acquired taste, sure. I just felt it was a lovely detail back in the day. Even though I am not called Luc 🤣
