This year ends wonderful, as my new watch came earlier as expected. The Rotonde Jumping Hours is simply beautiful and very unique, as only Cartier is able to realise. Aris and the obligatory wrist shot...

i hadn't appreciated this one based on seeing it in magazines, but your photos make it look fantastic. i'll have to see one for real some time. just make sure you don't wear it while you drive: it'd force to you take your eyes off the road far too often. ...

this is really a beautiful watch and makes life all the more difficult for me as i may make the leap and buy a more high end dress watch with a precious metal case this year or next. all my watches so far (go, jlc, iwc, omega) are steel and more suited to... 

But I would say it would have a negligible impact on the longevity of the watch, even for decades. Though I am not a metallurgist I believe no metal fatigue occurs as long as the loads are not over a certain threshold for the part. As long as the movement...
