I am only too aware of what you mean about the dangers of an auction low bid, I have ended up with a Chopard L.U.C. Sport 2000 and a White Gold Cartier Pasha exactly that way. Although I don't really regret either one of those purchases as they were reall... 

I want my purchases to be more intentional, but honestly I've done so much research (Apple Notes for every single watch I ever lusted over, with links and pricing expectations) that a low bid win like ours counts. Congratulations!
