often amazing history, amazing value for money, amazing finishing. Just have to find the right one. I’m looking for very high end chronometres even combined with tourbillons. All somehow accessible.... You’re example has also a lot of charm. Just thinking...

With pocket watches no external restraint is effective ... chosing a theme in advance is very helpful. I have manual, automatic, quartz, electronic, white gold, yellow gold, steel, plastic, ultra-thin, American, Swiss, Japanese ... Large, medium, small, p...  

But somehow I am not completely surprised, Mike ;-) You are a collector par excellence! I know you have a hundred-and-something wrist watches but how many PW? I will take your advice to heart about finding a theme. That’s the way to enter this time. Thank... 

They tend to get left with my cuff links, or in a cigar box, or partially-assembled in a service tray... I don't even know for sure how many are here: Mike ...

An interesting detail - it was not plexi but crystal glass. The Journe I love. A highly original piece and such a harmonious watch to wear both because af the symmetry of the dial and the nice proportions of the case.
