Roadster...it’s appeal?
Hi, I wanted to get the learned opinion of the horological experts on this site. What is your take on the Cartier Roadster? Has it lost its appeal? Do you see many in the wild?Where does it rank amongst Cartier models (fist tier, second tier, etc.)? I don’t see many posts about this model and it has made me wonder. I would not call myself an expert
I do think it is an attractive line of watches. The prices (without mentioning numbers) on the used and secondary market are very good for the buyer. Best, Martin

I think it is probably second tier as well. i have had mine for nearly 10 years, but don’t wear it that often. So, I began to wonder how others feel about it.

It makes sense since you have the bracelet. I have the leather band (and the black sport band it came with). Like the new toy! As for the Tortue...very nice. I love the CPCP Tortue Monopoussier ref 2396! An awesome piece!

It’s quite okay! As mentioned, my admiration for it has waned.
I am considering using it help fund another purchase. I usually don’t sell my pieces; in fact, I️ never have, but this piece doesn’t get much wrist time at all. Thanks again!
