Just got home from the Cartier boutique

And noticed an unacceptable imperfection on the dial. Really surprised Cartier let this slip through QC and the various distribution chain!

Yes very odd for a branch with as much as pedigree as Cartier, I would be surprised if such a flaw was discovered with a loupe let alone one that can be seen with the naked eye. I informed them that I am bringing the watch back, I will keep you updated on...

Cartier handled this issue very well. I visited the boutique today and the staff where very surprised and apologetic. They took in the watch and asked for a few hours to communicate the resolution method as per Richemont. 2 hours later the ME regional dir...

I have no knowledge of what happens specifically at Cartier, but is it possible we are just seeing a greater number of reports on your forum, while in reality these QC issues concern *all* brands to some extent?

An important Patek collector recently even reported an issue with the dial of a 5370P, which is a $242k watch... While the problem he had was frankly hard to explain, he was genuinely disappointed with Patek. (No word from him on how that ended up after P...

You shocked, i feel it. Your picture show the error, i can see it clearly. Good that Cartier picked up the problem fast and apologized. I am curious how the error free watch wil look like.
