Cartier

I have an issue with Cartier watches, I really don't know where it comes from but I can tell that the movements are not enough for me, I think those Cartier movements aren't a great manufactured. But also I can tell that the design of the Cartier watches ...

They have made watches in the last 5 years that have blown me away, both in terms of technical brilliance and aesthetic execution. R

They made some interesting movements. Now, you like the style of their watches or not, but movements speaking, they deserve some interest. It is just up to you to discover the Cartier universe. Best, Nicolas

There are a ton of Cartier watches with "mechanical" movements that are very interesting, particularly the discontinued CPCP models. If you're only looking at the quartz models, then yes, they can be a bit of a disappointment.

Not only CPCP, that was based upon calibers from third parties, but the new Fine Watch Making Collection, is the series of watches that makes the competition jealous. Amazing calibers, but also the more basic In House movements, like the 1904MC that power... 

Not so long ago, Cartier's entry level and most commonly seen Tanks, Ballon Blu, Pasha, Santos models etc all use basic ETA movements (correct me if I am wrong). Indeed the movements are nothing special. Perhaps that is why they are not good enough for Al...
