This watch is #1 on my dream acquisition list. They are not so easy to come by!

Cartier made 150 of these babies.

but I find the windows so small, that I, even with my reading glasses, hardly can see what time it is. This platinum version is one of the best-looking examples IMHO. GEO

How much were these if you don’t mind my asking

Back when Cartier first made these (1930’s??) I believe that Rolex had a similar Offering. ...

What a beautiful piece. It works really well with the Tank design. Is it readable size-wise?

Yes, the time is totally readable - the problem at first was the absence of the hour and minute hands. You get used to reading the time at a glance by merely seeing the position of the hands, while with the digital display my brain was protesting against ... 

Still, it’s good with some fun pieces for occasional wear.
