Here I would agree with Samuel. The C would not require a solid case back because the movement is interesting to see. Without these C, even better, yes.

I like Tortue cases. I just wished Cartier didn't have a drilled lug hole on the side of the case. I really don't like seeing those holes from the side of the case.

Exactly.
I agree that the movement decoration is... unfortunate. But the architecture is so fascinating I'm glad they didn't cover it up.

Possibly the most unambiguously gorgeous watch I've ever owned. (I know we aren't suppose to discuss this sort of thing, but I *also* made a bunch of money by owning it! Bought it 'before it was cool', sold it after.)

I have the yellow gold version, simply love it! The design is so refined, with such a movement.
I generally prefer if the brand name sits at the top of the dial.
In this case though, it helps to balance out the uber 12. Definitely a grail Cartier. Any idea if they got so many fancy minds working on this movement why it was a round movement in a non round watch?
