Cartier

I know absolutely nothing about Cartier watches, but as a retirement gift to myself, I am considering getting in Rose gold the WGSA0019 I know it is not a collectable watch, not sure I could find a Crash, Bamboo, Platinum Cintree etc or any 1960-1970 era ... 

I'm not sure I'm a lot of help on the Cartier watch front. So I'll let other experts fill in. But just wanted to say congratulations on retirement!

I am not going to tell you to buy or not buy but I own 2 Cartier de Santos in steel and I love them. The only caution I will say is that it will scratch. Otherwise best of luck on your decision. Patrick

It's huge, but I like big watches. This particular one was already sold so I have to wait until next week for another to get shipped to my boutique. I tried to find the slightly smaller no date version but apparently that was a somewhat limited watch and ...

Being a square watch they do tend to wear a bit larger than their stated size indicates. Also the medium is no date that I feel is a positive attribute on this particular watch. If you haven't already done so I'd encourage you to read through "Geo" s post...
